The Israeli Builders Association has appealed to the Israeli government to allow companies to hire up to 1 lakh workers from India to replace 90,000 Palestinians, US state-owned news network Voice of America reported.

The Palestinians have lost their work permits since the start of the Israel-Hamas war. "We're now negotiating with India," Israel Builders Association's VP Haim Feiglin said.
