⚡️In one of the biggest minority scholarship scams in India, about 53% of beneficiaries of minority scholarships in the country worth crores have been found to be 'fake'. Many madrassas were running only on paper.

Out of 1572 minority institutions scrutinized, 830 were found to be either fake or non-operational.

UM Smriti Irani has ordered a CBI inquiry into the issue.

India's first long-range revolver 'Prabal', manufactured by state-owned enterprise Advanced Weapons and Equipment India (AWEIL), has been launched for civilians and arms dealers.

The revolver has a firing range of up to 50 metres, which the company claims is "twice the range of other revolvers". People having arms licences can start booking the revolver from August 21.
