Kerala: CPM leader M Jafer, along with four others - Abdul Kareem, Muhammad Ali, Abdul Gafoor, and Jaseel arrested for assaulting and moral policing in Malappuram's Edavanna.

According to Muhammad Shimshad K, a Class XII student, the attack occurred when he and his sister were sitting at the bus stand. Abdul Kareem took their videos despite their protests, accusing them of inappropriate behaviour.

Gujarat Court sentences three persons to life imprisonment, after holding them guilty of spying for the Pakistan's ISI.

In 2012, Sirajuddin Karmatali Fakir alias Raju, Md Ayub Shaikh alias Sakir and Naushad Maksudali Saiyed were booked by Ahmedabad Crime Branch for sending "secret" military information to an agent of Pakistani ISI agents Taimur and Tahir.

"The accused didn't think about the security of 140 crore citizens of the country but thought about their own interests and the interests of Pakistan. As a matter of fact, those who are residing in India and doing such spying for Pakistan should voluntarily leave the country and go to Pakistan or the government should find them and send them to Pakistan," the judge stated in the judgement.

"All the accused are citizens of India and got employment in India. But there is no love or feeling of patriotism towards the country. Maharashtra ATS and UP ATS in a joint operation have arrested Sayyed Armaan (62) and Mohammad Salman Siddhique (24) - a suspected agent and recruiter for Pakistan’s Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) from Mumbai's Jogeshwari on Sunday.

The duo is said to have helped another suspected ISI agent Mohammad Raees, who was arrested in UP, for allegedly supplying information about Indian military establishments to his handler in Pakistan.

NIA attaches residence of Arif Abubakar Shaikh aka Arif Bhaijaan, a prime accused in the terror funding case against the Dawood Ibrahim gang. 

On February 3, 2022, the agency had registered a case against Dawood, his brother Anees and Chhota Shakeel among others for their alleged involvement in arms smuggling, narco-terrorism, money laundering, circulation of fake Indian currency notes and other charges.

They were also accused of being involved in acquisition of assets for raising terror funds and working in active collaboration with international terrorist organization like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad and Al Qaeda.
