The Islamic State Pakistan Province (ISPP) has claimed responsibility for the killing of an alleged spy named Abdul Ghani in Balochistan on June 28, 2023.

The statement reads as follows: "The soldiers of the Caliphate targeted a spy working for the 'Apostate Pakistani Government' in the city of Mastung, Balochistan. Pistol shots were fired, resulting in his death."
