Many lives could have been saved, if we have well trained para-medics, who on the ground could help prioritize urgent cases and basic first aid.
Regardless of how many ambulances are rushed to a spot, the time taken to transport the injured and critical cases - is really crucial. And itself could be decide a life/death of a patient.
You look at paramedics personnel and the kind equipment the staff people have in other country.
We are Super power, then we should also act like one, for its people.
I am criticizing purely from the point of view of - how systems can be better put in place to help deal with such disasters.
We have a huge population, but our disaster personnel are ill-indeed equipped to deal with such situations.
Yes, we can't have huge number of personnel for disaster management in reserves, but it doesn't explain the lack of equipment, while dealing with such situations.

NIA court convicts 8 ISIS terrorists for planting IEDs at various locations in Uttar Pradesh.
One of the IED that was planted in the Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train on March 7, 2017 that had left 10 passengers injured.
The names of the convicted terrorists are Mohammad Faisal, Asif Iqbal, alias Rocky, Sayyed Mir Hussain, Mohammad Danish, Atif Muzaffar, Mohammad Azhar, Gaus Mohammad and Atif alias Atif Irani.
One of the accused Mohammad Saifulla, was killed during exchange of fire with the UP ATS on March 7, 2017, in Haji Colony of Lucknow.

A deliberate attempt to derail a train on the route of Ahmedabad-Bhavnagar track was averted saving the lives of the locomotive pilot and a guard.
According to the reports, around 234 clips at the Matoda and Maroiya route were removed from the track and thrown into the bushes on the sides of the track.
It is important to note that the incident has occurred days before the 20th anniversary of the Godhra tragedy, in which 59 Hindu pilgrims were burnt alive in a train. The incident was followed by riots in several parts of the state in the year 2002.

Udaipur: A day after 186kg gelatin sticks were recovered from Bhabrana bridge at Som river near Aspur in Dungarpur district, the police once again on Wednesday recovered around 300 gelatin sticks which were hidden behind the bushes on the banks of the river.
This recovery comes just a few days after an explosion took place on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad railway track. The preliminary probe revealed that the explosion was an act of terror and was attempted to create panic among people. Rajasthan Police's FIR mentioned a bomb explosion, and that explosives were planted on the track, in an attempt to endanger the nation's security by creating terror among the common people.
