UP: A person gave Rs 2,000 note to an auto driver in Modinagar, Ghaziabad, the driver beaten the person

After boarding the auto, the passenger gave a 2000 note to the auto driver to deduct the fare, on which the driver refused to take the note saying it was banned.

Meanwhile, there was a dispute between the two and a fight started.

In a recent press conference organized in Kolkata, Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the producer of the film ‘The Kerala Story’ has alleged that the West Bengal police and administration have imposed an illegal ban on the film despite the Supreme Court stayed the ban.

Shah said that even after the Supreme Court’s judgment there is an illegal ban imposed in West Bengal theatres adding that theatre owners are getting threats.

“I am shocked at the people who claim to be the champions of democracy. Both the states are behaving in an undemocratic way and it’s shameful to stop the film’s screening after a Supreme Court order,” Shah added.
