Sangrur-based Hitesh Bhardwaj, the founder of Hindu Suraksha Parishad Bajrang Dal Hind, had filed a defamation case in the local court against Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for making defamatory remarks against Bajrang Dal during the recently concluded Karnataka elections.
A district court has issued a summons to Mallikarjun Kharge, president of India National Congress, in a โน100 crore defamation case.
Hitesh claimed that the Congress compared Bajrang Dal with anti-national organisations and also promised a ban on Bajrang Dal after coming to power in Karnataka.

Maharashtra: Islamist mob attacked a procession near Masjid, on the occasion of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's jayanti, at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk in Shevgaon, Ahmednagar.
The mob also pelted stones at the vehicles and vandalized them on a large scale. Some shops were also attacked and vandalized.
Eight people were injured in the stone-pelting, including two policemen.
