Karnataka Deputy CM should be Muslim, demands Waqf board chief.

Muslim leaders from the Sunni Ulma Board have also demanded that - five Muslim MLAs must be made ministers with good portfolios like Home, Revenue, Health & other departments.

“We already said before the elections that the Dy. CM should be a Muslim and that 30 seats be given to us. We got 15, and nine Muslim candidates have won. NIA made another arrest in the 2021 Naupada fake currency case, in which counterfeit Indian currency notes of Rs 2,000 were seized.

The accused, Mohammad Fayaaz Shikilkar, was taken into custody after 12 sharp-edged swords and incriminating materials, linking him to the seizure of high-quality fake Indian currency notes (FICN), were found in his possession.

NIA’s investigation showed that the accused was in touch with the D-company for the racket.

Already two people identified as Riyaz and Nasir, also residents of Mumbai, are currently in judicial custody.
