Akal Takht, the highest temporal body of the Sikh community - has served a 24-hour ultimatum on the Punjab Government all the 'innocent' people who had been arrested or detained as part of the crackdown on radical fugitive Amritpal Singh and his supporters.

The decision was taken during a Panthic gathering in which members of over 50 Sikh organisations, including those of the HSGPC, took part.
