traveled 70 km to sell his produce I.e onions to an APMC dealer.
Total: Rs.512
Deduction:Rs.509.50
This APMC dealer charged Rs.430 as rent...
Leaving the Farmer with just Rs. 2.49
and that too is a post dated Cheque with an amount rounded off to Rs.2.
Some sort of enquiry must be made into how these illogical charges are put in place.
These AMPC dealers should get rent in Direct proportional to the amount/ rate they pay for the produce.
The No.s of the AMPC dealer, if you look forward to complaining against the dealer to authorities is on the top right.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, the proposed Farm Laws actually wanted the farmers to have the freedom to choose/sell-in any market they wanted to. And not be Dependent on the specific APMCs.
But still Rs.1 for the produce was not what anyone expected to compensate our farmers with.
