Children today absolutely have no clue whatsoever the Islamic terrorism that Bharat had faced between 2004-2013.

Every few months terrorists used to bomb our cities.

Just imagine the amount of explosives that was there in those Mumbai trains - that the whole metal train bogey was ripped apart.

Imagine what would have happened to those passengers.

I recollect that the "cooker bombs" had nails in them - to inflict maximum damage to the innocent victims.

This was one of the deadly bombings that happened in Mumbai, amongst the seven serial blasts that rocked the city in few minutes - on July 11, 2006.

I came back from college after the Varanasi serial bomb blasts. There was still blood on the roof of the entrance of train station.

Mere saamne saamne bicycle me bomb futa tha bhai , McDonald's ke paas Pune Deccan ,tabse agar muze koi bolta hai ke politics tuze kya dega to main seedha bolta hun security, until then I wasn't really interested in politics , another one was German bakery and I was in the Shreya goshal concert at that time , imagine if there was a stampede in fear how many would have injured themselves...next one was near the place where we used to go to eat misal paav but thankfully it was diffused near dagdusheth mandir ..

I have a whole lot of experience of security threats during that period .biggest one has changed my life which I should not to discuss..
Pls don't reply..

I remember these blasts v well, i was in my early 20's and travelled by local train for my daily commute to my office. I missed being at the blast incident by 15 mins, i could literally hear the explosion from far away. I remember then rushing home to watch news about it and saw those gory unforgettable images which are etched in my memory forever, i kept thinking of those families and my mind was full of Anger and revenge for this dastardly attack. Only heartening thing was that Local trains were made operational the same night. Once i heard it on News, then i rushed back to the nearest station waiting for the trains to be operational again. I stood outside station and then entered once i Heard the familiar sound of the Train Horn. I am not sure if it was planned but there were multiple local trains empty now who starred blowing their horns together, just like in a symphony and the sound energised me similar to what the conch sound would do to announce the beginning of wars during Ramayan and Mahabharat times. These sounds was a symbolic victory over terror that the spirit and resilience of Mumbai is unshakeable and undefeatable.

It calmed me down and i could finally sleep that night. Life has never been same since then.

2008 was another level but i will share my personal experience on this later

Just like Nasiruddin said in Wednesday... I missed my train because of overtime in the office and 3 of colleges were injured in that bomb blast(Borivali blast). 1st recovered, 2nd permanent deaf & 3rd has Alzheimer. Can't even imagine what would've happened to me if I was their in that train, coz I used to travel on the footboard all the time.

I still remember that day. I was saved and thanks to Sri Ram Bhakt Hanumanji Maharaj. I was on the train starting from Borivali to Churchgate slow, to visit the hanuman temple at Khar West (I guess ghanteswar - where you tie Bells as offering for something you wish).

I donโ€™t know what happened, It triggered my thought to visit next time, so I just off-boarded the train and walked out of Borivali station (west) and back home. The moment I reached home, my roomie said thereโ€™s news of several blasts in Mumbai and one of them just now in Borivali. I was shocked & speechless. Little did I realise that the loud sound of a blast I heard outside the station was actually this bomb blast. I thought it was a truck tire as I almost walked quite far in the market.

Not only that, two of my office colleagues who worked were close to being victims, the train opposite to them had a blast. One was dead and in shock in hospital for two days and the other wasnโ€™t even affected (why - coz he was from the same minority and used to killings).

Seen the riot happen in Mumbai where so many shops were burnt.

Riot in Ahmedabad every now and then.

I am glad we all chose a good leader Sri Narendra Modi who has made it safer. And we should all spread the message to support him and BJP always. Finish every opposition whoโ€™re anti.

Jai Sri Ram!

The famous Gokul Chat bomb blast- this many decades old very famous main branch chat bandar was thronged by all walks of ppl n faith especially by families left horrible experience to many... The entire management/owner's family were remembered...

The bomb blast in Lumbini park in heart of city on same day left much more scar as many children were charred. Families stopped visiting park for many years and the memory of children victims still haunts...

If bjp government achivement list to be prepared for next election, then security must be on top list...

Unfortunately soul selling voters can't understand that safety of house and family members is vital over fancy freebies last of hrs or days....

I still remember Jaipur serial blast of 2008...my sisters were in medical College and used to live near Sindhi camp.
Saw this news of serial blast on tv,entire family got scared.
Started calling them, but both of them were not responding.
After multiple attempts,they picked up.
They were fine.
But this terrorist attack taught me that till it doesn't happen to your loved ones, you can't feel the pain of the victims and their family. And everytime i go to vote,i keep that incident in my mind.

It doesn't matter if petrol is little costly,if you can travel with your loved ones.It doesn't matter if there is inflation,if you have your family to have food with.

National security should be in mind when we go to vote.

Many sad memories of the bomb blasts between 2004-2013, is one of the reasons why the character Brigadier Rudra Pratap Singh is popular in India, because common people can understand the trauma.

No one suggests wiping off the whole race or a community or targetting innocents - but the innocent victims of the bomb blasts and their families had enough of "Secularism" in India.

I have a lot of memory of these serial bomb blast era. It was the era of booming of 24ร—7 news channels too. So I have watched a lot of coverage. Been around one such blast of 2008 Bangalore. Feared for near and dear ones in Mumbai and Delhi. In 25th July 2008, I was in college. we friends were in market roaming after watching a movie. When we came out, we sensed a fear and panic on streets. Autos were refusing to take us anywhere. Somehow we managed to reach a friend's rented accommodation and stayed there till evening. There were smart phones back then, no WhatsApp, no big Facebook network. Too many rumors were doing rounds through calls and sms. That was also a time, when network would be jammed...and your family and friends would be unable to reach you on call.

Then when I stayed in Delhi for 3-4 years, i always had fear of going to Sarojini market. Because in school time I had watched multiple news of bomb blast in that market. So I had this notion, that if something were to go wrong in Delhi. Sarojini market would be on list for sure.

Our internal security was a joke in 80s, a horror in 90s and a hopeless situation till 2014.
