Kerala: Police has registered cases against two teachers in two different POCSO cases in Kannur and Kasaragod districts.

Mohammed a madrasa teacher at Thalassery, was arrested on the charge of molesting an eight-year-old girl.

Hyderabad: Musheerabad Police arrested a 12-person gang, including a former cop and two women, for honey-trapping victims, extorting them and robbing people by threatening them with toy guns.

Former cop Mohd. Viquar Mehdi, Mohd Imran Khan and Ahmed Rizwan who runs a news portal - formed a gang.

Two women Syeda Uzma Fathima and Shaik Sameera would lure victims and later record their photos and videos.

One more gang member Heena is absconding.

Bihar: Constable Deepak Kumar (23) was killed by Liquor mafia during a raid, by drowning him in Budhi Gandak river in Muzaffarpur.

He kept begging for help with his colleagues, but nobody from the 25 Police officers and constables came to help him.

Hundreds of local people and school children of the area took part in the funeral procession of the constable.

Both the sale and consumption of liquor, was completed banned by the Nitish Kumar govt. in 2016.
