Madarsa teacher arrested on charges of rape

A 12-year-old girl registered a complaint against cleric Shahadat Hussain for molesting and blackmailing her at the Madarsa run by Noori Mosque, Nawada, Bihar.

Madrassa teacher told the media that he reached 'Mohabbat Ki Gehrai' with the girl.

Several objectionable photos of other minor girls were found in his mobile phone. He reportedly used to blackmail girl students for sex; for not uploading their photos on social media.

UN gives bronze award under it's World Habitat Awards 2023 to Odisha for Jaga Mission


Jaga mission is the world's largest land titling and slum upgrading program which aims at empowering the lives of slum dwellers.

The Government of Odisha has set itself the ambitious target of becoming the first slum-free state in India and is leading the Jaga Mission programme to upgrade all of the state's 2,919 slums.

Till now in 2,724 slums 100 percent of households have been provided with pipe water connections, and 707 slums transformed fully into Liveable Habitats
