The Uttarakhand Waqf Board has decided to introduce NCERT syllabus and a dress code like English medium school in its madrasas from next year as part of efforts to modernise madrasa education in the state on direction of state govt.

Religious education will be limited to just one hour a day.

Delhi's ruling AAP Trade Wing Secretary Sandeep Bhardwaj was found dead in his house in west Delhi, having allegedly committed suicide, police said.

Police said that no suicide note was found from the spot and further investigation has been intiated.
