Indian Air Force has decided to buy 100 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs or UAVs) for surveillance and the security of IAF bases across the country. These drone systems will be bought from Indian vendors or Indian original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

In 2021, over 30% of all detainees in Indian prisons were Muslims even though the community’s share in the population is only 14.2% (according 2011 census data).
