One of the BIGGEST rackets of trafficking of minor girls from South 24 Parganas, West Bengal has been unearthed.

Kingpin SK Hasan Ali, along with associates Anjura Kha and Nizam Molla have been arrested by Malviyanagar police in New Delhi.

Investigations have revealed that over 2,000 minor girls from Bengal were trafficked and these children were purchased from local contacts for Rs 5,000 each.

Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has detained Umar Khamisa Jat and Hamda Harun from Kutch district, for their alleged involvement in receiving and transporting 38 kg of heroin, seized by the Punjab police.

During their preliminary questioning at the ATS office, the duo claimed the heroin was sent by Pakistan-based drug dealer Gul Mohammad.

Gujarat: Five persons were booked for abetting the suicide of Haresh Solanki (46) in Banaskantha, who alleged that the accused group allegedly “brainwashed” his wife and children to convert them to Islam and separate them from him.

The accused are Aijaz Shaikh, his father Mustafa Shaikh, uncles Alam Shaikh and Sattar Shaikh, and cousin Sohil Shaikh — all residents of Rajpur in Deesa.

“Under the influence of Aijaz, Chandrika, Neha and Akash started offering namaz at home and told us that they have nothing to do with Hinduism. When my brother Haresh went to Aijaz’s house in Deesa, he was told by his father Mustafa and uncles that his wife and kids have accepted Islam on their own will.”
