Hyderabad Police has slapped Preventative Detention Act on BJP MLA Tiger Raja Singh.

PD Act is a law that is invoked by the police on habitual and notorious offenders to keep them locked in jail for ONE YEAR and invoked against those believed to be a threat to society.

According to Hyderabad police records, out of 101 criminal cases registered against Raja Singh since 2004 in different police stations in the city, 18 were "communal offences", a Police press note issued on Thursday said.
