An explosion occurred in front of Dhaka College late last night (Friday, September 18, 2026), amid a series of coordinated crude bomb and cocktail blasts across the capital city.

The blast at Dhaka College was part of a larger wave of sabotage on Friday night.

Other crude bombs and cocktail explosions were reported across multiple areas of Dhaka, including the Science Laboratory area, Rampura (opposite BTV Bhaban), Malibagh, Agargaon, Mohakhali, and Moghbazar.

A parked bus was also set on fire in front of the Kafrul Police Station.
