🚨NAXAL ARMS CACHE RECOVERED IN BIJAPUR

Security forces recovered a weapons and ammunition cache from the Neelmadgu forest area of Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, after receiving information from an informer.

The cache was hidden inside the hollow of a fallen tree near a riverbank.

Recovered:

• 1 country-made 12-bore pistol
• 1 damaged BGL rifle
• 8 BGL shells
• 10 live 12-bore rounds
• 3 percussion caps
• 1 screwdriver
• 1 rucksack

The operation was carried out by a joint team of district police, DRG and other security personnel.

🚨4 INSURGENTS ARRESTED NEAR INDIA-MYANMAR BORDER IN MANIPUR

Assam Rifles and Manipur Police arrested 4 suspected insurgents during a search operation near Border Pillar 59 in Aivomjang village, Chandel district, on September 1.

Police identified 3 as suspected UNLF-K members and 1 as a suspected PREPAK-P cadre.

The suspects had allegedly entered Indian territory and were trying to return toward Myanmar when security forces intercepted them.

Recovered: Mobile phones, 12,115 Myanmar kyat and ₹10.

All four were handed over to Molcham Police for further legal action.
