Israel and Greece are set to sign a $3.6 billion defense agreement to build Greece’s new “Achilles’ Shield” integrated air-defense network.

The system will combine David’s Sling, Barak MX and SPYDER with Greece’s existing Patriot capabilities, creating layered protection against ballistic missiles, aircraft, cruise missiles and drones.

The network will be coordinated through an AI-powered command-and-control system, while 12 Greek defense companies are expected to participate in the project with more than €700 million in industrial work.
