🚨The Assam Police STF, in a joint operation with Hailakandi Police, arrested 21-year-old Fazal Islam Barbhuiyan from the Ramnathpur area of Hailakandi.

🔎 Police said Barbhuiyan had been evading arrest in connection with STF Case No. 06/2026, and that incriminating articles and documents were recovered.

The arrest followed leads developed from the earlier apprehension of alleged SBN operatives in Dhubri, Chirang and Barpeta.

🇮🇳⚡🇳🇵105 Indian tourists among 291 foreign nationals missing in Nepal floods.

The Nepal Tourism Board says 291 foreign nationals are listed missing after a flash flood in Rasuwa.

Among them are 105 Indians, along with tourists from Australia, UK, US, Netherlands, South Africa and Malaysia. The list remains preliminary and under verification.

Spoke to Prime Minister Balendra Shah and conveyed condolences on the loss of lives due to the floods in Nepal.

The people of India stand in solidarity with their sisters and brothers in Nepal at this difficult time.

India is ready to provide all possible humanitarian assistance to Nepal.
