🚨Security forces launched an extensive search operation in Madkoli village of the hilly Sumb area, Samba, on August 25 after an Iridium satellite communication set was reportedly detected in the area.

J&K Police, Army and other security agencies conducted searches for several hours.

No satellite device or other suspicious material was recovered, according to local reports.

Security agencies have not ruled out the possibility of terrorist activity in the area, which lies along a route toward the India–Pakistan International Border.
