🚨Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected calls to hold elections while the war with Russia continues, warning that a wartime vote could split and destabilize Ukraine.

🇺🇦 Zelenskyy called elections under current conditions a “huge risk”, saying they could effectively “destroy” the country by creating internal divisions.

His remarks came after former Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov called for a mechanism to restore Ukraine's democratic electoral process despite the ongoing war.

Ukraine's elections remain suspended under martial law.

🇷🇺 Russian President Vladimir Putin says Moscow remains ready for dialogue to end the war in Ukraine, but negotiations must reflect the “realities on the ground.”

Putin also described some proposals currently being presented to Russia as “exotic” and unacceptable.

The +75-point GIFT Nifty points to a strong opening, supported by Friday's rebound on Wall Street and slightly softer crude.

However, the weak Asian setup & Brent still around $94 keep the overall backdrop cautious.

For Nifty, the key question will be whether the opening strength sustains after the initial gap-up, especially with crude, the rupee and geopolitical developments still capable of changing the mood quickly.

Positive opening, but let's see if the bulls can carry the momentum through the session.
