UP ATS has arrested 24-year-old Mohammad Zafar, a resident of Purnia, Bihar, for allegedly collecting donations in the name of a madrasa and attempting to send funds to a Pakistan-based organisation linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Investigators allege Zafar shared Masood Azhar's speeches and jihadist material, communicated with Pakistani handlers and attempted to transfer funds using cryptocurrency through Binance.

He has been booked under the UAPA and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

🚨6 pilgrims killed in a fire at a hotel near Tarapith Temple in West Bengal's Birbhum district

At least seven people were killed and 14 others were injured in a stampede near the Ashok Dham temple in Bihar's Lakhisarai district.

The incident occurred due to a heavy rush of devotees at Ashok Dham halt railway station, which is a short walk from the temple. The pilgrims had gathered there to offer water to Lord Shiva in the holy month of Shravan.

🚨🇮🇳🇺🇸 BREAKING: India Leases 2 MQ-9B Sea Guardians From U.S.

India’s Ministry of Defence has signed a ₹1,943-crore contract with General Atomics to lease two MQ-9B Sea Guardian HALE drones for the Indian Navy for 30 months.

The lease is intended to provide an immediate boost to maritime surveillance and reconnaissance while India waits for its larger MQ-9B fleet.

India has already purchased 31 MQ-9Bs — 15 Sea Guardians for the Navy and 16 Sky Guardians for the Army and Air Force — under a roughly $4-billion deal signed in 2024.

Deliveries of the purchased 31 drones are expected to begin in January 2029, making the 30-month lease essentially a bridge until the permanent fleet arrives.

🚨EBOLA OUTBREAK BECOMES DEADLIEST IN DRC HISTORY

The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has killed 2,325 people, surpassing the previous record of 2,299 deaths during the 2018–2020 outbreak.

Authorities have recorded 4,945 confirmed cases, with the outbreak driven by the Bundibugyo strain, for which there is currently no approved vaccine or specific treatment.

⚠️ The reported fatality rate has climbed to around 46%, amid delayed diagnosis, limited healthcare capacity and ongoing insecurity.

Iran's IRGC denies any talks with American officials, calling Trump's claims "fantasies resulting from delusions and nightmares of defeat and desperation in the war."

The IRGC said Trump is trying to "temporarily control the price of oil and energy" with his statements.
