🚨Maharashtra has ordered the removal and demolition of unauthorised hotels, dhabas, eateries and other commercial structures operating within the Right of Way (RoW) of National Highways.

Authorities have been given 60 days to remove existing unauthorised structures.

The crackdown follows the Supreme Court’s highway-safety directions aimed at reducing encroachments and improving road safety.

SENSATIONAL: Ajmer Central Jail Jailer Saddam Hussain arranged a video call from his own office and personal phone, allowing three inmates to speak with Nafees Chishti- the mastermind of the 1992 Ajmer sex scandal involving over 100 girls.The inmates- Tariq Chishti, his son Tausif alias Chinki, and nephew Fakhar Jamali- are serving 7-year sentences for a 2014 attempted murder case.

Tausif has been linked to Babbar Khalsa International. In the call, Nafees reassures them: “Baaki sab kara denge, befikar raho, InshaAllah.” He ends by thanking the jailer as “Ok chacha.”

DG Prisons Ashok Rathore has suspended the jailer. Departmental inquiry ordered. Tausif shifted to Bharatpur Jail. FIR registered at Civil Lines PS, Ajmer.

In a joint operation based on credible intelligence, security forces apprehended 1 active NSCN(KYA) cadre in the Jagun–Lekhapani area of Tinsukia, Assam, on August 8.
