Maharashtra Government has banned 114 radical (Muslim) publications through a gazette notification following ATS investigations and intelligence inputs.
The banned material reportedly includes
- Ghazwa-e-Hind textbooks
- ISIS magazines
- Hizbul Mujahideen literature, and
- Al-Qaeda publications.
Authorities said the publications promote violent extremism, radicalise youth, encourage terrorist recruitment, and threaten national security and public order.
