Protests broke out in Mussoorie’s Lakshmanpuri area after authorities DEMOLISHED an alleged KABRISTAN.

Muslims blocked the national highway, claiming the site was about 200 years old and had long been used for religious and burial-related purposes.

The administration stated that land records showed the property belongs to the Mussoorie Municipal Council and not the Waqf Board or any private entity, adding that the structure was removed as an encroachment after three prior notices were issued.
