Retired Army Major Alleges Harassment by Gurugram Traffic Police

A retired Army Major, who was disabled while fighting terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir, has accused Gurugram Traffic Police of harassment after being stopped on suspicion of drunk driving.

Despite reportedly clearing the alcohol test, Major Hemendra Singh claims he and his family were detained on the roadside until 1:30 AM. He alleges that when he called Police Helpline 112, the traffic personnel left the spot.
