The CBI has named P.V. Kulkarni, a Chemistry lecturer linked to the NTA exam process, as the alleged key source behind the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Investigators say he conducted special coaching sessions in Pune with co-accused Manisha Waghmare, where questions and answers matching the actual May 3 exam paper were allegedly dictated to students.

So far, 7 accused have been arrested from multiple cities, with five already in 7-day police custody for interrogation.
