A massive controversy has erupted over Lenskart’s internal grooming guide.

A viral document claims that while hijab and turban were allowed, bindi and tilak were not.

Lenskart CEO Peyush Bansal clarified that the document is outdated and does not reflect current policy.

He admitted it contained an incorrect line on bindi and tilak, which “should never have been there,” and said it was removed earlier.
