The government did not wait for things to spiral. Demands were received, assessed and resolved within 24 hours. A structured wage hike was delivered. A worker welfare committee was formed. The administration acted with speed and seriousness.

That should have been the end of it.

But a clean, fast resolution was the worst possible outcome for certain people. Because every time UP's governance delivers, every time a problem gets solved instead of dragged out, the narrative that UP cannot function collapses a little more.

So the protests continued. The exaggerated numbers came out. Opposition claimed 150 vehicles were destroyed. Police confirmed 13 cars and 7 bikes.

Someone needed this to look worse than it was. Someone needed the chaos to continue. And that someone is not any factory worker who just received a wage increase.

This is a deliberate attempt to destabilize a state that is growing. Nothing more, nothing less.
