🇹🇷🇷🇺🇺🇸 Turkey may soon drop its Russian S-400 system, opening the door to buying American F-35 jets, said US Ambassador Tom Barrack.
According to him, the S-400s delivered in 2019 are unused and mothballed, yet their very presence still strains Turkey’s ties with NATO and the US. Ankara was removed from the F-35 program after acquiring them.

Some reports suggest Israel may target Turkey in the near future — and without the S-400 system, Turkey could face serious challenges in defending itself.

🇮🇳Meanwhile, the US has been pitching F-35s to India despite having the S-400 system, but New Delhi has declined the offer, choosing strategic independence and its own defence priorities.
