Reuters reports that a draft plan being discussed by the US and Russia would require Ukraine to give up part of its territory and some types of weapons in order to stop the war.

The Financial Times’ Christopher Miller says the plan includes:

~Reducing the size of the Ukrainian army by half

~Giving up control of Donbas

~Limiting Ukraine’s future military capabilities

~No Foreign troops in Ukraine

Russia already holds almost 20% of Ukraine's territory.

According to several political analysts, Zelensky is expected to reject or strongly oppose such a proposal, as he has repeatedly said Ukraine will not surrender territory.
