In Bharat, 400 Hindu families in Tamil Nadu’s Chinnallapatti village had to go to the Madras High Court just to serve free food (Annadhanam) to the poor on public land.

For over 100 years, the same ground was used only by the 2,500 Christian families for Easter as they claimed it as “Christian land” under an old British-era practice.
