🛕 After weeks of uncertainty, the Indian government has reversed its ban on Sikh pilgrims travelling to Pakistan.

On Sept 12, the MHA had stopped all Jathas citing “security concerns”. On Oct 31, the ban was lifted. The Pakistan High Commission issued 2,100 visas for pilgrims. First Jathas will cross Wagah on Nov 4, returning Nov 13. Pilgrims will mark Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary at Nankana Sahib.
