2025. Caste census. EWS quota. Over 5,000 groups now claim “backward” status. Even those once seen as powerful want a share. The line between privilege and need? Blurred.

1947. India promised fairness. 1950. Seats reserved for those pushed to the margins. 1980. Mandal listed 3,743 groups as OBC. Since then, 1,200+ more added. Many were never seen as weak, until now.

Reservation isn’t about justice anymore. It’s about who can bend the rules. The joke isn’t who was denied. It’s who now claims to be denied.

But beyond quotas and claims, India rises on merit. On minds that build, not beg. On unity that sees past caste. The real reservation is for those who refuse to be divided. 🛕
