Yordanis Cobos-Martinez was arrested for Capital Murder in the death of Chandra Nagamallaiah.
Cobos-Martinez, who was working at a motel, is accused of decapitating Nagamallaiah with a machete after Nagamallaiah complained to Cobos-Martinez about a broken washing machine.
"According to Harris County court records, Cobos-Martinez was previously charged with indecency with a child and assault causing bodily injury in 2018."
"He was also arrested in California in 2017 after he allegedly attempted to carjack a woman while naked".
