To further strengthen the security system in the border districts of Uttar Pradesh, additional police force has been deployed and patrolling and surveillance have been strengthened, so that any emergency can be dealt with immediately

To help the Indian citizens trapped in Nepal, a special control room has been set up in the Law and Order Branch under the Additional Director General of Police Law and Order at Police Headquarters, Lucknow.
