A 41-year-old TCS software professional Manju Prakash died after he was bitten in the toe by a Russellโs viper that was hiding inside his Crocs.
The baby snake too died of suffocation as the techie walked wearing the slipper for nearly 30 minutes without sensing any sting from the snake bite.
Relatives suggested he may not have realised the bite, as he had lost sensation in his leg following a bus accident and surgery in 2016.
