Bombay high court Justice Bharati Dangre recuses from hearing former Maharashtra Home minister Anil Deshmukh's bail plea in the money laundering case.

Earlier in April 2022, two Bombay High Court judges - Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice PD Naik, had recused from hearing Anil Deshmukh's plea against CBI custody.

In May 2021, Supreme Court judge Justice BR Gavai had recused himself from hearing a plea filed by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh seeking transfer of all inquiries against him to an independent agency outside Maharashtra.
