Great news! Bot is back online and fully functional. We have noticed some issues in fetching media info for previous data and we have purged most of them, however media info for new files will be populated properly.

Finally here is a peek at our newest project from Baivaru. A clone of the roanuedhuru_bot that was on telegram but with the most used features that us Maldivians used and this time its on viber. At its current source - it will allow you to get headlines from various sources, latest jobs/vacancy listings from various sources, the criminal court schedule, a faithoora db of first 300 faithoora publications ever happened, a radheef db from which you could query in english, latin and dhivehi and a youtube to audio converter. Ofcourse, we will be adding a few more modules but as what and how demands are.

Our aim up here in doing this bot is not to just leave a project to you guys, well its a passion but also showing you the capability what a viber bot could do and the potential it has, imagine an online viber store? It is possible and here is a working complex bot 😁 also question yourself the popularity of viber at Maldives.

Well thats one reason, and if you remember when we first developed roanuedhuru concept on telegram its main aim was and we almost spent months on resarches and developing features to contribute for dhivehi bas in our way.. and the modules faithoora, radheef, dates(nakay) was born, and we still want to do the same.

So I’m sure all of you are wondering when Megatron will be back up. The problem was that the socket was flooding and we had go keep restarting the bot a couple of times everyday. But since that is not a practical solution, we decided to keep the bot down until we can figure out the problem. Progress Report: We have figured it out and work has already been started on a solution. Thank you for being patient!

Megatron has been up and running for the past 4 hours with a total traffic of 212 GB.

Here are somethings to keep in mind:

1. Firstly send /start on the bot to begin with
2. We have dropped the command /urlupload its no more, just send link
3. We have dropped the command /settings, to set up settings use the command /dldsettings and to set a thumbnail just send a photo thats it..
4. We have dropped the idea of inline use the command /query instead and is better cos if the same link is send again the bot will suggest a list of files it already had downloaded and u can retrive it without having to wait for download/upload to complete.
5. We dont save screens and media info for historical data, screens and mediainfo is only for links and if those are supported.
6. We have implemented the long awaited file renaming module(stress on how it changes the document according to settings user has setup).
7. Links renaming wont change file extensions, it remains as it was in prior versions.
8. There are a lot of websites which the earlier versions supported but not on current however slowly we will be there not just yet - Also we dropped the idea of using 3rd party apps to download/resolve headers and purely depend on python, so what ever which python can handle is what we download for generic, in addition to that we have openload(sometimes is slow as a snail nothing to do with us, complain to openload), youtube(audio and video - quality is set and cant be changed in this release but may be later), soundcloud and a few other ytdl websites no one gives a shit about.
9. Its source is from scratch so be patient and gentle with it.

Basically this means now you can send your telegram files to @megadlbot and it will provide you with public links from @LinkToFilesBot that is in addition to just renaming files, you also have options to get Screens and Media info for supported files without having to wait for the download proceess to complete.

So it has been a while since we have been quiet, From the creators of @megadlbot, @scsht_bot and the driving forces of Baivaru here is a surprise for you 😊
What we do is simple. We take a file from telegram, and let you stream it, instead of having to download before you watch it.

You had asked for it long enough and just as promised here is the first part of Megatron from scratch. Within this video we do the initial setup the project, set some common commands such as start and the very initial portion of download/upload module.

I will create a repo for this portion of the video on GitHub once the YouTube video reaches 100 likes and once at least I get 100 subs, so that you could simply clone the repository and run it from where we had left.

Also please comment some feedback on what you would like me to improve on the next video.

Here is the second part of the Megatron from scratch project. Within this video we are going to do the renaming of files that we download/upload, well exactly how Megatron used to do it.

If you remember, when once you send a link to Megatron it used to respond with buttons, which in telegram terms are called InlineKeyboardButtons. These are a list of buttons within InlineKeyboardMarkup and you could send callback data when a button is pressed. These callback data can be captured by filtering for callback queries. Also, for renaming if you remember, with the message you receive you are automatically forced to reply too – well you guessed it right, it is called ForceReply. I do demonstrate these mentioned on this vide.

Unfortunately no one wanted the Git Repo I guess 🤷‍♂️, well we did not reach our target likes no the subs on the last video that was posted, so let’s keep the target as it is, I will post the source of this portion combined with the previous video on GitHub once either of these video’s reaches 100 likes and once at least I get 100 subs, so that you could simply clone the repository and run it from where we had left. The only feedback I got last time was that it was difficult to read, so I have addressed it and did this video on the Presentation mode this time, so that font sizes are good enough for someone to read even if they are viewing on a mobile phone. Let me know if you have any other feedbacks at all.
