Tuberclosis is an epidemic disease in much of the world causing the deaths of nearly one and half million people each year!

TB is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in Sudan. We as medical students who believe that prevention is better than cure, we must build awareness about this disease and limit its spread. The world TB day theme of this year is "UNIT TO END TB"

And here by we open the call for the anti_TB compaign and World TB Day Celebration's OC.

The celebration will be held on the 24th of march and the associated activities will be conducted through out the whole three weeks before.

I'm Awab, a second year medical student from Alzaiem Alazhari university, and the current ZAMSA LMO President...

MedSIN sudan is an organization that changed my whole life! How? .... For me as a new student... I thought that medicine is all about studying and i imagined my life just in the library or hospital... I wasn't aware that I can change the community around me! Just another doctor to be... But when i knew that there is something called MedSIN an organization that joins me with all med students around sudan... I said to myself why not?!... But really the first step in my life was when i knew about projects in MedSIN... My life changed when i started defending human rights when i started awareness about diseases , about pur bad social norms... About all the things that i saw my community suffering from it... I am a loyal SCORAngel and really i will keep telling people, everyone i know about the women die from it, breast cancer and fighting it... All reproductive health problems that we face...
I think :" MedSIN is not about changing yourself mainly, it's about changing the community around you, giving them informations about their health, their rights, their life... All we want to do is to raise up with our community... So We try "

What: Anti-FGM Event for the International Zero Tolerance to FGM Day. It will be a charitable yet entertaining event. There will be a huge bazaar, exhibitions, and many entertainment segments!! Mental health and well-being are fundamental to our collective and
individual ability as humans to think, emote, interact with each other, earn a living and enjoy life. On this basis, the promotion, protection and restoration of mental health can be regarded as a vital concern of individuals, communities and societies throughout the world.

The project will have a main event that will be held on the 8th of April , and community based awareness programme That will be conducting a campaign for the community from the period of february 2017 till December 2017 .
