IDF Seizes Road Corridor Salhaneh Encirclement Begins

🔘A rare IDF success on the western sector.

🔘Crossing from the Israeli side along the coast, IDF columns pushed north through Khallet El Hamra securing the road network leading into Salhaneh without entering the town itself. Blue arrows show three axes fanning north and northwest inside the captured gray perimeter, cutting the main supply and access routes into Salhaneh from the south and west.

🔘The strategy mirrors the new Taybeh playbook — control the roads first, isolate the town, enter only when ready. IDF has clearly learned from the direct-assault failures at Khiam, Ayta ash Shab and Beit Lif.

🔘Salhaneh sits just below the governorate boundary taking its road network cuts off movement between the coastal sector and the interior.

IDF Second Attempt — Ayta ash Shab Encirclement

🔘First attempt failed Direct assault repelled with casualties IDF came back with a completely different playbook.

🔘This time no frontal push Two blue columns sweep wide from east and west simultaneously curling around Ayta ash Shab from both flanks A third arrow pushes straight into the town center once the flanks are sealed with the encirclement designed to cut Hezbollah off from the Al Heba Coffee corridor to the north before fighters can reposition or resupply.

🔘The tactic is deliberate deny Hezbollah the ability to outflank the column as they did last time by emerging from tunnel exits behind advancing infantry Encircle first, seal the exits, then enter.

🔘The tunnel network beneath Ayta ash Shab means encirclement on the surface doesn’t guarantee isolation underground.

🔘The second battle for Ayta ash Shab has begun.
