⚡️🇺🇦🇷🇺General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
As of today, since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian soldiers have neutralised more than 50,000 artillery systems of various types belonging to the russian aggressor.

This result is the product of the daily combat work of strike UAV operators, reconnaissance personnel, counter-battery specialists, the Missile Forces and Artillery, and the troops of other components of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

Every enemy artillery piece destroyed means lives saved — those of our soldiers and of the civilians in front-line towns and cities.

The systematic demilitarisation of the russian aggressor continues. To be continued.

Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦

⚡️🇾🇪🇸🇦🇮🇷 — Houthi Expansion and Regional Alliance Tighten Strategic Grip on the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb, — THE JERUSALEM POST.

➡️ The recent lightning advance by Houthi forces across Yemen’s southern Red Sea coast—including the seizure of the Greater and Lesser Hanish islands, Mocha, Perim Island, and the Zuqar islands—highlights an increasingly coordinated strategy by the Iran-led regional bloc. By establishing positions at the narrowest point of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait just 20 kilometers from the African coast, the Houthis have gained effective control over maritime transit lanes from the Gulf of Aden. This military push has been synchronized with actions across the axis, including an Iraqi Shi’ite militia drone strike targeting the Saudi East-West pipeline.

➡️ Intelligence documents from Yemeni sources reveal that the Houthis' enhanced military capacity is heavily reinforced by the direct on-the-ground presence and supervision of Iranian, Iraqi, and Lebanese technical experts advising on drones, missiles, and intelligence infrastructure. While operating with local autonomy regarding their specific objectives—such as pressuring Riyadh over recent Saudi military actions rather than enacting a blanket international blockade—the Houthis rely on established smuggling networks, Chinese components, and sophisticated communication arrays to sustain their regional campaign.

⚡️🇺🇦🇷🇺Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy:
I received reports from Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi. Following the change in leadership of the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, decisions are being prepared to update its management approaches and system for responding to challenges. The key priority is to scale up as widely as possible the successful practices already being used in combat brigades and by effective brigade patronage services. Scaling up the successful experience of the Defense Forces is a priority for commanders at every level.

We also discussed revising the regulatory framework and approaches to recruiting foreign volunteers to serve in the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Everyone who feels that our defense of Ukraine’s independence has global significance should be given a fair opportunity to prove themselves and receive the respect they deserve. I am grateful to all the foreign volunteers who have already made a significant contribution to defending Ukraine, our independence, and our people’s right to live as people should in a sovereign state.

I also approved new long-range operations in response to Russian strikes. We are preparing to expand our long-range capabilities.

I also want to separately thank all our weapons developers and manufacturers, all the engineers and experts involved, who are literally working around the clock to come up with ways to counter jet-powered “shaheds.” We already have several solutions that have proven their effectiveness in real-world operations by successfully shooting down jet-powered “shaheds.” We are working to ensure their systematic deployment, consistent effectiveness in shooting down these targets, and the mass production we need.

Together with the Commander-in-Chief, we also identified further priorities for active operations on the front. Glory to Ukraine!

⚡️🇺🇸U.S. Central Command:
Update from CENTCOM Commander:

I'm Admiral Brad Cooper, Commander of US Central Command, and I want to update you on the Strait of Hormuz and the incredible milestones that America's men and women in uniform continue to achieve.

Centcom forces have supported more than 1 billion barrels of crude oil leaving the Gulf. That's 1 billion barrels of crude oil out through the Strait of Hormuz in the last couple of months. We've reached this significant milestone while assisting over 2,000 commercial ship transits through the strait by providing coordinated protection. Clearly, momentum is building.

Primary transit lanes in the strait are clear of mines. Thousands of ships have passed through the strait. Over 1 billion barrels of crude have been shipped from Gulf partners through the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran has exported zero barrels thanks to our ironclad blockade.

Even with this progress, we remain clear-eyed and laser-focused as we work with our teammates in the US interagency, as well as all six partners in the Gulf Cooperation Council, known as the GCC, as well as insurance and shipping companies to increase the volume of traffic flow through the Strait of Hormuz.

The effort is paying off. The volume of crude oil, cargo, and liquid natural gas these past two weeks is higher than at any point in the past six months.

We're also working with every partner in the region enhancing their air defense, forming a new coalition attack drone unit, and keeping the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding waters open and clear.

The average American doing this important work is in their mid-20s. They're pilots, maintainers, logisticians, culinary specialists, air defenders, intelligence analysts, and members of every other career field that make up America's military, the greatest force on earth.

To all our service members and partners, stay focused and keep up the great work. Thanks so much.

🇾🇪🇸🇦Houthi political official Hizam Al-Assad, commenting on reports of a fire at an Aramco fuel depot near Riyadh Airport:
"And what's coming is even greater, God willing.

The Saudi enemy has gone too far in playing with fire with the Yemeni people: siege, aggression, slander, and Daesh-ification."

⚡️🇺🇸 — CNN has issued a statement after its journalists were denied access to the White House grounds.

The network said its mission to report on the U.S. government will continue regardless of attempts to restrict physical access, calling the ban an "illegal assault" on its constitutional right to report without government interference.

CNN added that it will not be deflected from holding the government to account and will continue covering the administration "without fear or favor," stating it stands fully behind its White House team.

⚡️🇺🇸 — The USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and USS Frank E. Petersen Jr. (DDG 121), along with the embarked staffs of Carrier Air Wing 9 and Destroyer Squadron 21, arrived in Guam for a brief logistics stop, marking Carrier Strike Group 3 personnel's first return to American soil in nine months, according to U.S. 7th Fleet.

➡️ The ships returned to the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility after nearly seven months operating in U.S. Central Command, and previously stopped in Guam in December 2025.

➡️ Before the Guam stop, the ships conducted port visits in Laem Chabang and Si Racha, Thailand, from September 2 to 6. Personnel will be afforded on-base liberty during the stop.

⚡️🇮🇷🇺🇸 — The Iran war is driving fuel prices higher worldwide, triggering protests and straining economies with no connection to the conflict, with U.S. gasoline prices up 49% since the war began, according to Axios.

➡️ Fuel-import-dependent nations like Pakistan and Myanmar have seen steep hikes, while even the U.S., the world's largest oil and gasoline producer, faces soaring prices with no retail caps or subsidies.

➡️ Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian refineries are also boosting motor fuel prices, especially diesel. Dozens of nations have moved to cap, subsidize, or cut fuel taxes, per the IEA, while the IMF warns many measures "lack clear expiration dates or fiscal cost estimates."

➡️ Rising costs are compounding inflation, debt, and youth unemployment in Kenya, which relies heavily on Middle East imports and saw major protests in May — a warning sign for others "caught downstream of the war's economic blow."
