“When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you don't blame the lettuce. You look for reasons it is not doing well.
It may need fertilizer, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce.
Yet if we have problems with our friends or family, we blame the other person.
But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce.
Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason
and argument.
That is my experience. No blame, no reasoning, no argument, just understanding. If you understand, and you show that you understand, you can love, and the situation will change."

' “And do what?” said Buck, baffled.
“Do?” said Harrison. “Do? That’s just it, my boy. All of the doors have been closed. There’s nothing to do but to find a womb suitable for an adult, and crawl into it. One without machines would suit me particularly.”
“What have you got against machines?” said Buck.
“They’re slaves.”
“Well, what the heck,” said Buck. “I mean, they aren’t people. They don’t suffer. They don’t mind working.”
“No. But they compete with people.”
“That’s a pretty good thing, isn’t it—considering what a sloppy job most people do of anything?”
“Anybody that competes with slaves becomes a slave,” said Harrison thickly, and he left. '

' “Loving” women is not the same as respecting women.
Loving women is not the same as valuing women.
Loving women is not the same as being good to (and for) women.
I am intimately comfortable with the way fierce men move through this world and the differences in how men and women tend to respond to love, and life, and conflict, but if you can not respect and value women (all women) when they are making you uncomfortable or challenging you to look beyond your ego, hear me when I say that is not love.
There are other words for that.
Strong men, healthy men, safe men, warriors protect the sacred - respect the sacred. Apane.
Not just when those sacred are feeding their ego or when it is easy, convenient and serves their purpose.
Not just when the pressure of accountability and real life consequences are immediate, but when no one is watching, and no one but yourself can stand you on that line.
It is a commitment to the labor of moving differently with those who bring the future and carry the past.
Understand what you’re giving, not just what you’re taking and hold that responsibility like the gift it is.

' Theon was headmaster at the Museum of Alexandria, the place dedicated to the Muses, daughters of the ancient goddess of memory, Mnemosyne.
Each of the Muses embodied a "sacred art" such as astronomy, lyric poetry, and history.
The nine daughters of Memory presented a model for the curriculum of the Mystery Schools.
Museums today are merely repositories of relics from the past, but the Alexandrian Museum was the setting for a wide range of living traditions, truly a center of higher education.
The campus spread along the horseshoe-shaped port dominated by its Pharos, the famous four-hundred-foot-high lighthouse that ranked among the Seven Wonders of the World.
It included many independent academies dedicated to subjects as diverse as geometry and sacred dance, and training guilds that produced a constant stream of graduates in fields such as sculpture, botany, navigation, herbology, engineering, and medicine.
The assemblies and guilds associated with the Royal Library had their own libraries and teaching faculties. '

Q. I tried to listen to an audio recording, but it was silent.
Was it a butt dial?
Is there something wrong with your recording device -- or maybe with the device I'm using to listen?
A. Heehee, not a butt dial :-) nor a device malfunction. 🌺
When you encounter a silent audio or video in the Intuitive network, you are receiving an earnest invitation to meditate with us in that space.
Meditate from wherever you're at, whenever you find the message -- or make an opportunity to come back later on and join us then.
This is the beauty of asynchronous communications.
Shared meditative attunement is a helpful practice, especially if you don't currently have anyone else to meditate with in person.
Breathe gently and with care for your body.
Attune your presence and vibration with others who are in the same space, even though all of us may be in different locations.
Notice our shared psychic state -- and how connected we are, especially with the Internet turned off and the audio player set to the side or behind you, out of your line of sight.
Shared meditative practice and the holding of intention, just this way, have nourished and strengthened us in building the Intuitive network for many years -- especially in times of greatest hardship and isolation.
Together, we activate our awareness and kindness for ourselves and one another.
In this silent stillness, we co-create new worlds from the life energy of our mindfulness, breathing, and heartbeats.
We experience peacefulness in collective resonance.
This is one way of tending the community body.
When we finish a meditation with one another, even asynchronously, we understand more of what happens next.
With our Intuitive attention held together in recording or listening to this audio... what is forming?
Thank you for joining. 💞
