' I suppose I'm not too surprised at how closely aligned this book is with the work I've been doing over the last few months... but I am *completely* delighted. A quarter of the way through, and I'm already seeing more obvious tie-ins and courses of action in terms of what we can all do to be healthier, happier, experience less pain and suffering, understand ourselves better, feel more fulfilled in our lives. And it's not about taking a pill, or paying a guru. Hell, it's not even necessarily about having a yoga practice, though wow, that can help. It's about simply doing the damn work, in each of our lives, one step at a time. And being willing to show up as ourselves, and confront the things that are hard.
I'll let you know where I'm at when I finish reading, but wow. This one has been so worth it so far. (Many thanks to Anne, Tracey, & Briana for their encouragement over the weekend -- I was planning to pick this up eventually, but I picked it up a lot sooner because of your comments, and I am so pleased that I did.)

It felt so important to come together at this moment --to share our grief, to feel our deep love and gratitude to Arny for the innumerable gifts he has given to each of us and our world, and to sing and woof and join his spontaneous playful spirit! I can sense that he was deeply moved by everyone and glad to remind all of us to continue our learning and research to help make a better world. Thank you so much for carrying his teachings and legacy forward each in your own way. I'm also touched by your love and embrace of both of us.

' I am on page 37 of Dreambody by Dr. Arnold Mindell; the body's role in revealing the self. This is the second edition published by Lao Tse Press, Portland, Oregon, second edition.
This page, 37, at the very beginning of the book... the paragraph near the bottom of the page... I cannot turn the page. I cannot bear it.
This, this, is one of my favorite things that I have read ever in any book in my entire life.
I won't read the paragraphs leading up to it, but I will read this paragraph:
"The traditional Tibetan doctor takes synchronicity more fully into diagnostic account than his traditional Indian and Chinese colleagues, and will even give his patient a poor prognosis if he himself is in a bad mood when the messenger arrives announcing the patient's illness.
He may also make a diagnosis on his way to see the patient, depending on various omens.
The patient's body or dreambody is everywhere for the Tibetan doctor."
There's so much more I want to read, but I just had to read that part.

3 (!!!) need brainstorming support via marco polo & voxer & google docs -- email can be stand in if we plan time to focus together at the same time
because there are some tricky safety problems to solve here in the next few days
and my neurons are still shrieking about inflammation and fainting a lot
but oh when we are in collaboration with community, what magic happens ✨
hoping against hope to stumble on those sudden miracles and kind, daring strangers 💞
evaluating shifts in my body to try to bust out previously unaccessible physical efforts🙏🏾
