Facebook is the abusive community member you're still okay with because you need what Facebook gives you.
So it's okay for people you care about to be grievously, egregiously harmed by Facebook.
For my survival as a severely disabled person, I must always remember that I am not physically safe with any person that does not recognize this. Not even with those who are advocates; not even from a digital distance.
But even considering our differences, you aren't safe in those circumstances either.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to finally do something about it together?
