Australia’s rallies today are a good sign and a good start.

They’ll put the government and the media into damage control, since the primary message accompanying the system’s lockdown orders and vaccine-coercion is “we are in control, and be afraid”.

The rallies challenge that message.

Today the people at the rallies demonstrated that not everyone is afraid and the state isn’t as in control as it wants people to believe. TV news tonight will broadcast footage of police marching on crowds and arresting individuals, and the message will be “police maintained control. We are still in control.” (Be careful when dispersing/leaving the city to go home, this is the time when police will move on individuals and small groups of people to make their arrests).

But it doesn’t matter because the precedent has been set. Millions of Australians have now seen the large numbers at today’s rallies and will feel more confident to attend the next one. This ensures big numbers at future rallies and great potential for future political action.

And what’s beautiful about this particular cause is it’s a truly grassroots worker’s response, it’s not being lead or organised by any one person, so the state cannot simply take out the leader and kill the whole thing in the process.

Considering the hardcore censorship and police harassment these protesters have been up against from the beginning, the rallies today were very impressive. Well done Australia.
