It seems TikTok has to be one of the most censored platforms on earth. 💯

But I don’t think this is just about TikTok. It feels like part of a much bigger global push across all social media platforms, even platforms like Telegram—to restrict, suppress, or limit the reach of information that challenges the mainstream narrative.

The real issue is who gets to decide what information people are allowed to see.

Control the platforms, control the algorithms, control the reach of information, and ultimately, you can influence what people are exposed to and what they believe.

And this is why I think we need to look very closely at things like the under-16 social media restrictions. On the surface, we are told it is about protecting children, but that is the excuse and the foundation for something much bigger: digital ID being required to access the internet and prove everyone’s age.

You see, once the infrastructure exists, it can always be expanded. That’s the part that should concern everyone. 👀

You’re not simply putting your life on display for the public… you’re handing an entire digital record of yourself to the platforms collecting it. And even when you delete something, you can’t necessarily assume it’s truly gone forever. Copies, screenshots, archives and backups can continue to exist long after you hit “delete.”

The scary part is how willingly we’re giving away pieces of our lives without ever really knowing who has access to them, or what they could eventually be used for. 🤔

Maybe the real danger isn’t just being watched… it’s how much we willingly reveal.

And perhaps that’s the real danger, or even the plan. Use AI to create so much doubt that eventually nothing can be trusted. When genuine footage can be automatically dismissed as fake, it becomes incredibly easy to control the narrative simply by making people question what they’re seeing. 🤔
