What if one could time travel back to the turn of the 19th century? What if you were suddenly in the Russian Empire, what was once the heart of now occupied Tartary. What if you had also brought with you a modern digital camera and took some photographs for the rest of us to see?

Sergei Prokudin-Gorskii (Сергей Прокудин-Горский), who lived from 1863 until 1944, has done the closest we could come to seeing such photographs from a modern camera. He had traveled around pre-communist Russia in the early 1900s photographing his surroundings.

I must stress, these are NOT "colourized" photographs done by modern digital artists. These are three layer composites produced the way they would have been a century ago, the process is very simple however I will not explain this now. This is early colour photography.

The results are stunning.

These photos truly capture something that can otherwise only be captures in paintings of fantasy setting.

Again, *these are not colourizations*

There are some intricate details to be spotted in some of these photographs in relation to our fake history. As much as I would love to draw your attention them, I will save that for another time. For now just admire the photography of the early new world that has been preserved. This is truly beautiful.

Mercury arc rectifier, found in a 102 year old elevator. Used for switching AC/DC current. If not from the Old World, it was more likelier built on the basis of salvaged Old World technologies.

Mercury was arguably one of, if not the most important element of the Old World.
By means of it were engineered ancient flying machines (Vimana, etc), electrical generators, as well as supposed healing properties.

That was until the people in power began demonizing mercury as toxic and not to be used in most technologies unless necessary, hense it's decline in the past century.

Dresden, before and after the Second World War.

They ask, "how could they possibly have fabricated our history?", the answer I give is, how could they not have?

For the past two centuries our cities have been entirely defaced, if not purposely burned by fires, flooded by weather, crumbled by earthquakes, shelled and bombed by artillery or aircraft, then they will find some excuse to outright demolish the "outdated" structures and pave right over them as if nothing was there.

Today what remains of the Old World is very little, as the years pass, the buildings, artifacts, memories, those are done away with, ultimately what remains becomes even less.

If there are no memories left, if enough years have passed for there to be no more people to testify, no more artifacts to testify, then they can take their chisel once more and chip away at our history bit by bit.
